Eggless Dark Creamy Chocolate Food Cake with Glaze -Eggless Cake RecipesIngredients
- All purpose Flour - 3 cups
- Cocoa Pd - 3/4 cup
- Sugar - 2 1/4 cup
- Butter - 3 sticks ( 11/2 cup)
- Hot Water - 1/2 cup
- Ground Flaxseeds - 3 tbsp. + 6 tbsp. of water
- Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- Baking pd - 1 tsp
- Milk - 1 cup
- Vanilla Extract - 1 tbsp.
How to Make Glaze
- Heavy Cream - 1 cup
- Semi sweet Chocolate Chips - 2 cups
- Butter - 1 tbsp
- Grease a bundt pan with butter well into the grooves and all over. Use a help of a baking brush to grease , dust cocoa into the greased pan and remove the excess. Keep it ready.
- Preheat the oven at 180 C or 350 F.
- In a bowl Beat butter till it is soft and fluffy add sugar gradually and cream it with butter. Soak flax seeds in water for 10-15 mins then mix them well.
- Add vanilla extract , add the flax seed mixture and mix it well.
- Sieve cocoa in a bowl and add hot water to it slowly and mix them continuously without any lumps. After it cools down a bit mix in milk to it.
- In the creamed butter mixture add all purpose flour, baking pd, baking soda and keep it a side.
- Now add the wet ingredient or Cocoa mixture to the flour mixture little by little and stir well to avoid lumps. If the consistency is too thick you can add some more milk to adjust.
- Pour the batter in the greased and dusted bundt pan and bake it for 35 - 45 mins till a tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool the cake on a wire rack for 10 - 15 mins and then invert the pan on a serving plate , cool the cake for 10 mins more on a wire rack.
- Take semi sweet chocolate and cream in a bowl and microwave it for 30 secs stir and then microwave again for 30 secs. Mix well if you see lumps of chocolate them microwave for 30 secs more.
- Add butter to the hot glaze and pour it on the bundt cake. Allow it to set a little and then enjoy.
