Rajasthani Mirchi Vada

    7-8 pcs Mirchi
    4 boiled potatoes
    1 finely chopped green chilli
    1 tbsp finely chopped coriander
    ½ tsp red chilli powder
    1 tsp coriander powder
    1 tsp salt
    ½ tsp chaat Masala
    1 tbsp Roasted saunf
    4 cup gram flour ( 1 big bowl)
    1 tsp salt
    ½ tsp red chilli powder
    Oil to deep fry

Preparation Method

For filling ,
Mash boiled potatoes with hand and put in a bowl. Mash properly with  a masher.
Add a chopped green chilli , coriander, red chilli powder, coriander powder , a pinch of heeng , salt , chaat Masala and roasted ground d saunf , and mix well to make a mixture.

For Batter,
In a bowl , add 4 cup  gram flour , add 1 tsp salt , ½ tsp red chilli powder , water and mix well , to prepare a thick batter.Beat and keep aside for 5-10 minutes .

Now scoop out the seeds from the mirchis slit  lengthwise and fill them with the filling mixture. Now coat the mirchis with the batter , and deep fry them in a wok with heated oil.
Remove and serve hot with mint chutney

    Serving Suggestions

      Serve it hot immediately.
