Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

Savor this relishing vanilla ice cream with your family and beat the scorching heat.


    Sugar :- 2 Cups
    Salt :- 1 tsp
    Flour :- 6 tbsp
    Half and half :- 4 Cup
    Milk :- 5 Cups
    Eggs :- 6
    Rock salt :- a pinch
    Vanilla :- 3 tbsp
    Ice Cubes :- few (crushed)

Cooking Bowl
Waxed Paper
Freezer Cans

Preparation Method

Take a saucepan and add flour, salt and sugar.
Take a bowl, add eggs and milk and blend them thoroughly till they mix well.
Add sugar till it is smooth.
Sauté it in low flame for 40-45 minutes, mixing it continuously till the complete mixture thickens and forms a coating over the spoon.
Take a waxed paper and cover it up. Refrigerate it for cooling for almost 2-3 hours.
To this chilled mixture, add vanilla & half and half and pour it into the freezer cans as desired.

    Serving Suggestions

      Top it with flavored syrups, strawberries or cherries and enjoy it chilled.
